Thiruvananthapuram: The Christmas party convened by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be held today. Religious leaders were invited to the event at the Muscat Hotel. But Governor Arif Mohammad Khan is not invited. The Governor invited the Prime Minister and Ministers to the Christmas party held at Raj Bhavan but they did not attend.
While the State Government Christmas party is held in Thiruvananthapuram, the Governor is in Kozhikode. The governor is arriving in Kozhikode to attend a private event. The Governor will reach the Kozhikode guest house at 10:00 and participate in the program at the Kotuli Home of Love at 16:00. The Governor will also participate in the lecture series to be held at the Kolathur Advaita Ashram on the 21st. The Governor’s trip to Kozhikode comes amid controversy over the government’s failure to invite the Governor to the Christmas party.
