The daily talk show of SBS6 stopped abruptly on April 29 after a commotion arose about a confession by Johan Derksen, who said that he had penetrated an unconscious woman with a candle fifty years ago. A day later he changed his story and said that there had been no penetration.

After two turbulent broadcasts, Derksen initially pulled the plug on ‘Vandaag Inside’, but after talks with the management of Talpa, the three men got back to work. The program will not only return tonight, the opinion show of Wilfred Genee, René van der Gijp and Johan Derksen will also continue longer. Where the series would normally have stopped on June 3, it has now been decided to broadcast at least two weeks longer. After the conclusion of this series, ‘Vandaag Inside’ will start again on August 15th.
