Jakarta –
iPhone 13 has just been announced with a design similar to its predecessor. This flagship phone made by Apple also still uses a notch design on its screen, even though its size is smaller than the notch on the iPhone 12.
Samsung who has just launched the Galaxy Z Fold 3 immediately took this opportunity to quip Apple and the iPhone 13. As is known, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is Samsung’s first cellphone that uses camera technology under the screen.
At the launch of the iPhone 13 a few days ago, the United States Samsung Mobile Twitter account uploaded a number of tweets mocking the iPhone 13. One of them mocked the iPhone 13 because it still has a notch in 2021.
This tweet has been retweeted 622 times and retweeted 435 times. Netizens also welcomed this satire with various responses, but most did not accept the ridicule and quipped back at Samsung.
The width of the iPhone 13’s notch is indeed smaller than the iPhone 12, but it’s even slightly higher. Apple says notch size iPhone 13 can be minimized thanks to a redesigned TrueDepth camera housing layout and speakers that are now placed above the camera components.
In addition to mocking the notch, the US Samsung Twitter account also briefly said the launch of the iPhone 13 felt like deja vu. Maybe because the iPhone 13 does not bring significant changes when compared to the iPhone 12.
They also quipped that Apple had just released an iPhone with a 120Hz refresh rate in 2021, even though this feature has been used on Android flagship phones for the past few years.
Samsung Mobile US also mocks design iPhone 13 that can’t be folded like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. “Imagine how cool the phone would be if it could be folded in half,” tweeted the Twitter account @SamsungMobileUS, as quoted detikINET, Thursday (16/9/2021).
