The Mayor’s Office of La Paz reported that it scheduled a health fair for this Saturday and Sunday with various medical care and there will be a mobile clinic where they will vaccinate with the single dose of Johnson & Johnson anticovid, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“The idea is that the population is motivated on health issues, be there. If you have not come, now is a good opportunity to do so, I think it is important to have constant activity, “said the municipal health secretary, Cecilia Vargas, on Panamerican radio.
He specified that the fair was the initiative of councilor Lucio Quispe and will be comprehensive, with attention to dentistry, general medicine and there will be recreational activities and music in the square that adjoins the San Francisco church and the Lanza market.
He assured that as long as the greatest amount is vaccinated, the fairs and other types of events will continue to be part of the priorities of the La Paz commune, since to date 98% of the population have been vaccinated with the first dose and 57% with the second.
“This (98%) has been achieved with the Departmental Health Service (Sedes de La Paz) and the Ministry of Health. This is something that the mayor (Arias) made relevant because he said that when we all come together, things go well, ”said Vargas.
He specified that the La Paz commune contributed to the massive vaccination campaign with the megavaccination of July 18, then with the Ruta de la Vida that reached Barrios de Verdad, among others.
