As of today, the ADAC expects a lot of traffic jams on our motorways. It could get crowded, especially in the afternoon and also tomorrow afternoon – when commuters meet vacationers and family visitors. It should be lumpy, especially on the A3 from Oberhausen and on the A40 in the direction of Duisburg. The traffic club does not anticipate large traffic jams caused by ski vacationers. For the return journey, the ADAC recommends driving on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons after Christmas.
