Grand Theft Auto 5 came on September 17, 2013. Fans have been waiting for a sequel for almost eight years, but according to a leak with a solid merit, still have to wait for the next main release until 2025. Statements from a shareholder event in the parent company Take-Two as owns Rockstar, builds up under the prediction.
Comes as a modern Vice City version
Tom Henderson, who has previously leaked Call of Duty and Battlefield 2042 details – claims in a video that GTA 6 will be put in a modern Vice City version. This is contrary to previous reports that GTA 6 would be added to the 1980s.
There are several reasons why fans have to wait. Henderson says that Rockstar, in the wake of reports of harsh working conditions in the time before Red Dead Redemption 2 came out, places greater emphasis on employee well-being and freedom to create. Thanks to the constant revenue stream from GTA 5, Rockstar also has the luxury of being able to take plenty of time to develop the sequel.
Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC
It is believed that the new GTA will come to PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC. Henderson added that since Rockstar will avoid delays, GTA 6 will not be announced until they are reasonably confident of progress.
It’s worth being wary of GTA 6 reports until Rockstar officially reveals the game, but Henderson’s leaks are consistent with previous leaks.
