For these offenses, he was sentenced to 2 years, including 3 months in prison.

Indeed, to take revenge on his ex-girlfriend who accused him of trying to rape a person, a minor, the defendant shared Mbissine Thiaw’s intimate videos, his address and his phone number in a pornographic WhatsApp group. of 255 members nicknamed “Dakar Night” to make her look like a prostitute. After the videos were posted, several people contacted Mbissine Thiaw to have sex with her. Overwhelmed by the situation, the civil party Mbissine Thiaw contacted one of the interested parties to ask him for the initiator of the distribution of the videos in this group.
This contacted member captured the video, showing the photo of his former roommate and ex-lover who is none other than Abdou Sarr’s defendant. Subsequently, the complainant went to lodge a complaint with the research section. Thus, he was trapped by a gendarme who called him on the pretext of a cabinet construction contract.
Placed under a committal warrant since November 24, 2021, he was tried this Friday, November 26 at the Dakar flagrante delicto court. Prosecuted for collection of illicit data and dissemination of images contrary to good morals, the respondent denied the facts with which he is accused.
In his defense, he claims to have mistakenly shared the videos of the lady in this group. “I was added to a WhatsApp group without me realizing it. I uploaded the video to the group with Mbissine’s name and phone number. I didn’t want to tarnish his image. At one point, I wanted to leave the group, but I don’t know how. We were never a couple. It was a drug that hit me. It’s a mistake I made We lived together from 2006 to 2020, “he said.
During his indictment, the public prosecutor considers that the criminal responsibility of the facts does not suffer from any challenge. “The defendant admitted the facts before the bar. The prosecution urges the court to stop the abuses on social networks. The defendant wanted to destroy the person and the intention to harm the dignity of the latter,” said the prosecutor .
