This was due to his open mind, curiosity and ability to accept guidance humbly. It also demonstrated his studious nature and Determination to make progress.
He was nurtured and influenced by his family since he was a child. His grandfather often took him to construction sites, which made him have a strong interest in architectural design from an early age and inspired his dream of becoming an excellent architectural designer in the future. He is willing to make unremitting efforts to achieve his life goals.
Interest is the driving force for learning. Charles has a solid foundation in art and design, and his works are impressive. For example, he once designed a model of a community facility.
“This design embodies my vision of providing a sanctuary for academically stressed high school students. I sought to blend prairie style with nature by adding plants to the open space to create a ambience. During the design process, I I learned to create a space for tranquility, communication and stress relief for students,” he explained his design philosophy.
In addition to taking classes at the West Coast College of Art and Design, Charles also seizes every learning opportunity to continuously expand his artistic horizons and consolidate and improve his art and design skills. He studied art fundamentals and drawing in the Youth Architecture Program at the Art Center College of Design; he studied Rhino and Adobe software and experimented with 3D modeling at the UCLA Youth Arch Summer Institute.
