Mathematician Bert Slagter is an expert in “complex systems”. Immediately after the first corona messages from China, he delved deep into the figures behind the approach to the corona virus. He did the same after the outbreak in Italy. Slagter misses a clear story about the current approach of the cabinet. According to the mathematician, we now have to bring the reproduction number down with an even stricter lockdown and then test, trace and isolate on a large scale.
