The Witty House Band”Gapolijeri“, who also call themselves the kitchen cabaret association, offer a solution to high heating costs in the new song “Stay warmer”.

“As the heating season approached, we were afraid that the prices of energy resources would be higher than in Gaizin and we would have to make a choice: eat or stay warm. It made us think about wintering in hot countries, how we could pamper ourselves if we didn’t have to put all the money in the chimneys”, says the leader of the association, the actor, the new song Christian Carelin.
The piece was created in collaboration with producer Jānis Eglīti. Guitarist Egils Leimanis also left his lead guitar tracks on the song.
Earlier this summer, the group released a mini-album with songs in the atmosphere of the green balloon “Kur Tu esi?”, but are currently actively working to bring the group’s third album to listeners in 2023. The work of the group is characterized by joyful melodies about the big challenges of little people.
Soloist Kristians Karelins, bassist Artis Drozdovs, drummer Normans Bārbals, as well as guitarists Māris Kurtiņš and Normunds Zālamans are active in the Kitchen Cabaret Union.
