The author of the lyrics of the song is musician Oskars Deigelis, while Oskars created the melody and musical design of the composition together with producer Jānis Narbutus (“White Wide Production”).

“The Christmas season is always special. If I can warm a lonely heart with the help of this song, I can’t help but be grateful. In this period of waiting for the holidays, it’s important not to be alone and to know that somewhere there is is someone who thinks of you and please. The lyrical sound of the song allows you to conjure up a vision of a quiet snow-white winter evening, which is like a moment of respite from the stressful routine of life. Thank you Oskar and Jānis for having created the beautiful song and entrusted me with singing it,” says singer Dārta Stepanova.

“It all started with the chords written by Jānis. It was he who gave birth to the idea of creating a new Christmas song. After working together in the studio, I went home and without hesitation wrote the melodic line and the words of the song. I’m very happy that Dārta agreed to record this song. I think she did it wonderfully,” says Oskars Daigelis.

Commenting on the content of the piece, the musician is laconic: “The song “Mans namiņš” is a special tribute to all lonely celebrants of holidays.”

The single “Mans namiņš” is available on all major music streaming sites.
