The installation of hanging baskets in the streets of the Toulouse conurbation continues.
A first initiative of this kind was carried out in Toulouse during the year 2020 and it is now an association of Colomiers which offers this help to those who find themselves in difficulty to make their essential purchases.
Packaged products
As a reminder, the principle of hanging baskets is that the public can drop off food or hygiene products for the most disadvantaged. The only condition is that these products are packaged and not expired.
Anyone can then get what they need to support themselves.
In Colomiers, the Osons Colomiers association is at the origin of the initiative.
First two baskets
“This charitable and civic action consists of leaving baskets accessible day and night to offer food and hygiene products to people in difficulty. Summarized in a slogan: ‘If you can, you put, if you can’t, you take!’, Explains the association.
The first two baskets were placed on the commercial area of Perget and the Super U of Colomiers
