To go ahead with vaccination we need to restrict social encounters

“We have more than doubled the number of infections in a month. In the middle we try to call for reflection, “said the President, who clarified that” infections are concentrated in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Buenos Aires. We have the vaccine, which keep coming. In this sense, Alberto Fernández said that “to continue with the vaccination we need to restrict social encounters”, and explained that “the problems are not in the factories, they are in social encounters, and restricting nighttime does not mean that during the day you can do anything ”.

The president called on the municipal and provincial governments to enforce the measures, which he took “to guarantee two things: not to stop the vaccination process and that the health system is not saturated.”

Fernández pointed out that he seeks to “avoid social encounters, guarantee distancing and lower circulation,” and that thus he decided that, from this Friday until April 30, to restrict circulation between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. suspend all sporting, recreational, cultural activities that take place indoors; close gastronomic activities at night.

In addition, from next Monday and for two weeks, the classes will acquire their virtual modality.

Alberto Fernández also warned that these decisions will be “carried out by the federal forces.”
