Many people complain of the problem of yellowing of the teeth due to a variety of reasons, most notably the lack of regular toothbrush and paste use.
In this article, we will look at a group of tricks for getting rid of yellowing teeth, according to the “Healthy” website.
1. Avoid unhealthy habits.
The best way to banish those yellow spots is to avoid all unhealthy habits like smoking, excessive consumption of coffee and sodas, and chewing tobacco.
It is advisable to include fresh fruits and vegetables in the diet.
Consuming milk-containing products is said to help raise pH levels which helps remineralize tooth enamel.
2. Rinse your mouth with oil.
Rinsing your mouth with tea tree, sesame, and coconut oil can help you get rid of the plaque that can cause discoloration and help prevent gum-related problems.
All you need is to rinse your mouth with two tablespoons of any of these oils for at least 5 minutes, then rinse your mouth with warm water and avoid eating anything for the next half hour.
Repeat twice a day for best results.
3. Brush and floss every day.
Try using a whitening toothpaste or electric toothbrush as it helps remove plaque more effectively than a regular toothbrush.
People are generally advised to brush and floss immediately after meals, but this can weaken tooth enamel.
It is recommended that you wait an hour or more before brushing your teeth, or you can brush your teeth half an hour before a meal and rinse your mouth later.
Other effective measures:
1. Use neem twigs to brush your teeth in the morning.
2. Chew the neem leaves to prevent your teeth from yellowing.
3. You can mix neem essential oil with your regular toothpaste.
4. Rinse your mouth with a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar and rub your teeth with orange or banana peel to get white teeth.
