The researchers collected samples from bat from Cambodia North.
This study was conducted to understand the pandemic corona virus which has been around the world for almost two years.
The researchers returned to the region where they found a virus very similar to SARS-CoV-2 that was found in animals a decade ago.

To research and find out the origin of the Covid-19 virus, eight researchers in the IPC team have collected virus samples from bats and recorded species, gender, age and other details for a week.
Similar research is also being carried out in the Philippines, namely tracing the origin of the virus that causes Covid-19.
“We hope that the results of this study can help the world to have a better understanding of Covid-19,” field coordinator Thavry Hoem told Reuters.
