JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A celebrity with the initials SS (24) was arrested at his residence in an apartment in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, Friday (13/11/2020), for drug abuse.

In a press conference at the West Jakarta Police, Monday (11/16/2020), SS stated that he regretted consuming marijuana.

“I want to apologize profusely for everything, for my fans. I admit that I am sorry and will not repeat my actions,” he said.

On the same occasion, West Jakarta Police Chief Audie S Latuheru stated that his party received information from local residents before visiting the SS residence.

“After receiving the report, we conducted an investigation at the TKP in Tanjung Duren. The person concerned was in his own apartment unit. It was nighttime. It was approximately 22.00 WIB,” he added.

When arresting SS, the police found evidence in the form of marijuana weighing more than 51 grams.

After arresting SS, the police immediately conducted a urine test on the person concerned.

The result, SS positive urine contains THC.

In addition, SS also admitted to consuming marijuana with a male friend, JRS (29).

The police immediately arrested JRS at his residence in the Bekasi area.

“The officers carried out the development and succeeded in securing a male friend with the initials JRS (29). He was secured in the Bekasi area with evidence of marijuana of more than 74 grams,” said Audie.

SS’s attorney, Michael Halim, stated that SS consumed marijuana because of his health needs.

Because, he often has trouble sleeping.

“He (SS) consumes it for his own health. Not to be used for sale, but for his health,” said Michael.
