Young volunteers from the Municipal Coordination of Civil Protection of the City Council of Center They decided to close the year 2021 by doing altruistic work.
Those who collaborate in this area as lifeguards, by their own decision, agreed to donate their New Year’s Eve dinners and take them to those who have family members hospitalized at the Children’s and Women’s Hospital.
Aboard a Coordination van, the volunteers were placed on the outskirts of the hospitals, and there, they served the food that had been prepared for them.
The corporation stressed that “the vocation to serve is not only in emergency care, but is also reflected in the noble actions and satisfaction that it leaves when receiving a ‘thank you’ and blessings for the volunteers.”
In this regard, the coordinator of the area, José Arturo Gómez recognized this work and assured that it was an action undertaken on the own initiative of those who collaborate in Civil Protection of Center.
