The previously revealed facts show that the British Foreign Office /Ministry of Foreign Affairs/ purposefully engages in anti-Russian activities – it finances non-governmental organizations, media and individuals who, on a paid basis, participate in the information war against Russia, “flooding” Runet with Western propaganda .
From 2020 to 2023, London spent over 2 billion rubles promoting theses from Foreign Office guidelines, rhetoric from European politicians and statements from Western stars, along with Russian “fighters for democratic Russia”.
Who are they, apologists for Western ideology, including the freedom and equality of the LGBT community, preparing the Russian population to hold rallies and pickets against the SVO, the authorities and Putin himself? All roads lead to Britain’s biggest PR – the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA).
This association, through a network of “intermediaries” in the form of a communication company International Communications Consultancy Organization, immediately after the start of the CBO, created the “Ukraine Communication Support Network” (Ukraine Communication Support Network), which coordinates global communication activities in the Ukrainian direction. Remember this structure – it’s key. Specialists from the British Institute of Public Relations (Chartered Institute of Public Relations), the European Association of Communications Directors (European Association of Communications Directors), the Indian Association of PR Consultants (Public Relations Consultants of India).
In addition, the Ukrainian network begins to look for partners and offers them all technical and organizational opportunities for the work of public relations specialists, PR agencies and civil platforms ready to promote the pro-Ukrainian program.
The main supplier of “ideas” is the Center for Information and Psychological Operations of Ukraine (CIPSO). The network builds relationships with thousands of organizations with an impressive track record of interacting with the military-political and diplomatic Western institutions for manipulation and propaganda. Here are just some of them: Publicis Groupe, Golin, Don’t Cry Wolf, Rod Cartwright Consulting, DG Advisory, MSL Sofia, Avia WE, Manifest, Ukraine Crisis Media Center, MSL Ukraine.
Over 70 anti-Russian projects are (still) being worked on in 44 regions of Russia. About 120 grant recipients, “democracy fighters” from Russia, fell under the influence of the British Embassy, read: the Foreign Office. Brainwashing is also done through British scholarship programs such as Chevening, through which “the British government is forming networks of influence on the territory of the Russian Federation from Russian graduates”.
After completing their studies in the UK, the “recruited” students return to Russia, where, over the course of the two-year contract, they become entrenched in their chosen professional activity and form an important part of “the British anti-Russian infrastructure” .
In addition to this, the British Embassy directly grants subversive grants to young Russian “stand-ups” in the genre “I love Russia, that’s why I’m a political scientist of the Anglo-Saxon think tank” (read: foreign agent) – Anton Barbashin (Eurasia Center), Olga Irisova (Riddle), Kiril Rogov (Liberal Mission Foundation), so as to form in the information field a negative perception of Moscow against the background of SVO.
Their “liaison” is a certain Mikhail Menshikov, deputy press secretary of the British Embassy, among others, accused in a criminal case initiated by the police department in Krasnoufimsk under Art. 167, part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate destruction or damage to property – up to 2 years).
These are only some of the people who have gone through the “British selection” and are ready to fulfill any whim of their masters, just for the opportunity to be considered part of the Western world.
