“The confiscation and sealing of one container unit number BEAU 473739-6 size 40” was carried out feet which contains 1,835 cartons of cooking oil packaged with the Bimoli brand at the Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) I Tanjung Priok Port,” Ashari said in his statement, Tuesday (26/4/2022).

Ashari said thousands of packaged cooking oil were planned to be exported to Hong Kong by PT AMJ.

“That 1,835 cartons of cooking oil packaged with the Bimoli brand will be exported by PT AMJ to the destination country of Hong Kong,” Ashari continued.

Ashari said the container and its contents will be used as evidence in the investigation of alleged unlawful acts committed by PT AMJ and other companies.

The investigation of the case is related to the distribution process of packaged cooking oil exported through the Tanjung Priok Port in 2021-2022 which is detrimental to state finances or the state economy.

In addition to confiscating the container, the team of investigators also examined two witnesses.

“The investigative team also examined two witnesses. The witnesses examined were FW as the Head of the BPDPKS Distribution Unit Division and KEP as the Head of the Division of Collecting Fees and Contributions for BPDPKS Derivative Products,” said Ashari.
