TNI Pensioners Build Walls Close Access to Housing in Medan

While

Retired TNI, H Silitonga, with the rank of colonel built a wall in Alley Adil, Jalan Setia Budi Pasar 1, Kota While, North Sumatra (North Sumatra). The wall closes access to housing.

Reported detikSumatra, Tuesday (7/3/2023), the alley built with brick walls is 3 meters wide. The wall is made of cement and bricks. The height of the wall is about 1 meter.

On the left side, there is a gap for the occupants of the housing to go in and out. However, the pass can only be traversed on foot. Cars and motorcycles cannot pass.

Near the wall, various building materials were still piled up. Meanwhile, on the wall on the side you can see writing that the housing developer has not paid for the land.

“This alley/street has not yet compensated the housing developer. Col. Purn H Silitonga 081361xxxxxx,” it was written on the wall.

“This land is still privately owned, has not been paid for/reimbursed,” read another inscription on the wall.

H Silitonga himself opened his voice. He approved the installation of the wall.

“Why do I wall up this alley? Because it is our right, this alley belongs to us, why? There is a complete letter,” said Colonel (Purn) H Silitonga when met at the location.

According to him, residents do not know about the ownership of the land. In fact, Silitonga explained, it was his parents who bought the land area of approximately 6 thousand square meters, including Gang Adil.

“That’s the basis for the rights, the legality, is there a letter? Yes, it was around the 70s,” he said.
