jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Member of Commission I DPR RI Fadli Zon reacted strongly after receiving news that members of the TNI visited the Tajul Alawiyyin Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) under the care of Habib Bahar bin Smith in Pabuaran, Kemang District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Friday (31/12).
“The TNI officers should be able to understand their main duties and responsibilities. Obviously they have crossed the line,” he wrote on his Twitter account @fadlizon, Monday (1/1).
Fadli’s tweet apparently invited the reaction of the Deputy Speaker of the DPR for the 2014-2019 period, Fahri Hamzah.
According to him, the arrival of TNI members to Islamic boarding schools is actually dangerous and has been happening for a long time.
The deputy head of the Gelora Party then alluded to legislators who were less critical of this matter.
“This is because your friends (Fadli Zon, ed) in the Indonesian House of Representatives mostly cut their salaries and become food distributors. What are their duties, what are they busy with,” he wrote on the @fahrihamzah account as quoted on Saturday.
Previously, the Commander of Korem (Danrem) 061/Suryakancana Brigadier General (Brigjen) TNI Achmad Fauzi visited the Tajul Alawiyyin Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) belonging to Habib Bahar bin Smith.
