TNI Members Beaten to Death in Kebayoran Baru Page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A TNI member was reported killed after being beaten by a number of people on Jalan Falatehan, Melawai, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

This was confirmed by South Jakarta District Military Commander (Dandim) Colonel Ucu Yustiana.

“It is true that the TNI has become a victim,” he said on Sunday (18/4/2021), as reported Tribunjakarta.com.

However, he said that the TNI member who died was not from the South Jakarta Kodim 0504.

“For more details, you can (ask) to the Police Chief,” he added.

A CCTV footage showing the action beatings was viral on social media on Sunday.

In the recording, a group of men gang up on someone until they fall down.

After the victim fell helplessly, the perpetrators immediately left the location.

Beatings allegedly occurred on the sidewalk of Jalan Falatehan.

The incident was confirmed by the Head of the Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, Tomy Fudihartono.

“Yes, it’s true (there were beatings). It happened this morning on Jalan Falatehan,” said Tomy when confirmed, Sunday (18/4/2021).

He added, there were casualties in the incident.

Polri members were also victims

In a chain message it is known that the victims of the attack were two people, namely Sergeant Dua DB and Bhayangkara Satu YSB.

Serdan Dua DB was injured, while Bhayangkara Satu YSB was killed.

This was confirmed by the Dandim of South Jakarta. However, he could not give a detailed chronology because it was still under investigation by the police.

“The chronology is in the investigation of the South Jakarta Police and Pomdam Jaya, because this morning we only found the victim,” Ucu said when confirmed, Sunday evening.
