TNI Member and Wife Persecuted in Bandung: Attacked with Sharp Weapon and Held at Gunpoint

A member TNI AD and his wife were persecuted by four people in the city of Bandung. The TNI member with the rank of Chief Soldier (Praka) is currently being treated at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung.

Reported detikjabar, the beating incident occurred on Jalan Gegerkalong Hilir, Sukasari District, Bandung City, on May 16. Initially, the motorcycle of the TNI member collided with the group of perpetrators and an argument ensued.

The perpetrator then attacked the TNI member with a sharp weapon and an electric shock device. Meanwhile, the victim’s wife was held at gunpoint airsoft gun.

Kapolrestabes Bandung Kombes Budi Sartono said the victim had reported the case to the police. Currently, the police are still hunting for the perpetrators.

“Yes, the report has been received,” said Budi in a statement received, Saturday (20/5/2023).

Meanwhile, Kapendam III/Siliwangi Colonel Inf Adhe Hansen did not know the victim’s injuries. “Currently the victim is conscious and is being treated at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in the emergency room,” said Adhe.
