The perpetrator of the shooting of the Commander of the Strategic Intelligence Agency Team or Dantim Bais Pidie territory Captain Abdul Majid was arrested. The perpetrators are 3 people.
“There were 3 perpetrators. The victims were shot using SS1-V2 weapons,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Kombes Winardy, to reporters on Sunday (31/10/2021).
The three suspects are D, M, and F. They have different roles. Winardy explained that suspect M was arrested in Sakti District, Pidie, at around 00.20 WIB this morning. M was arrested in Bandar Baru District, Pidie Jaya at around 06.00 WIB and F was arrested in Trienggadeng, Pidie Jaya, at around 09.30 WIB.
“All three are civilians and are currently being held at the Pidie Police,” said Winardy.
According to Winardy, F shot Dantim Bais Captain Majid at close range from outside the car. Police are still investigating the origin of the weapons used.
“Evidence of weapons was found in D’s garden, we are still investigating where the weapons came from,” said Winardy.
Previously, a TNI member was shot dead by an unknown person in Pidie, Aceh. The victim is said to have served in the Strategic Intelligence Agency (Bais).
“The victim of Dantim Bais Pidie has the rank of Captain,” said Winardy when asked for confirmation detikcom, Thursday (28/10).
Information obtained detik.com, victim Dantim Bais Pidie, Captain Abdul Majid, was shot at Jalan Lhok Krincong Gampong Lhok Panah, Sakti District, Pidie.
“It happened at 17.15 WIB,” said Winardy.
