TNI Commander Urges Soldiers to Maintain Unity with Polri

TNI Commander Admiral TNI Yudo Margono asked TNI soldiers not to be provoked, so that they were involved in clashes with Polri personnel. He said Indonesia would be strong if the TNI-Polri continued to work together.

“Soldiers and civil servants of the TNI, do not be provoked by negative issues that have resurfaced to provoke the TNI to clash with the Police. Remember, that the strength of the state, the unity of the state is strengthened by the TNI-Polri,” said Admiral Yudo in a press statement from Puspen TNI, Tuesday (2/5/2023).

This was conveyed by the TNI Commander in his direction while leading the Special Ceremony in the context of Halalbihalal in 2023 which was attended by TNI soldiers ranging from high-ranking officers, middle officers, non-commissioned officers and enlisted men, as well as all PNS TNI Headquarters at Plaza TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta (East Jakarta) , Today. “The key is in the TNI-Polri. If the TNI-Polri are divided, it will become a threat to us together and the beginning of destruction. A strong country because the TNI-Polri are strong,” he said.

He explained that the TNI was created for the people and to defend the people. The task of the TNI is to maintain the sovereignty and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and to protect the whole nation and all of its bloodshed.

He again reminded TNI soldiers not to fall for provocations on social media that provoke emotion. Judo said the TNI must protect Indonesia’s sovereignty.

“The interests of the TNI are for the country and the nation. Let’s all unite our resolve, that the TNI’s job is to protect state sovereignty, protect the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and protect the people and all of Indonesia’s bloodshed,” he said.

Furthermore, he said that currently the TNI is an institution that has the highest trust in society. He hopes that all TNI soldiers maintain humanism.

“Maintain and maintain a humane character but be firm when dealing with any matters that interfere with state sovereignty that affect state sovereignty,” he said.
