TNI and Polri arrested KKB leader Egianus Kogoya’s men, with the initials YL, in Nduga Regency, Highlands Papua. Apart from arresting YL, the authorities also managed to confiscate thousands of rounds of ammunition.
“Yes, it’s true that the joint team of the Indonesian National Police, Ops Damai Carstensz-2023, arrested 1 member of the KKB and secured firearms and ammunition that were suspected of belonging to the KKB in the Nduga area,” said Kasatgas Gakum Ops Damai Carstensz 2023 Kombes IGG Era Adhinata as quoted by Antara. detikSulselTuesday (14/4/2023).
Era said the evidence was the result of the development of the apparatus’ investigation.
“The evidence that was secured was the result of the development of an investigation from a KKB member in the Nduga region who had been arrested earlier, namely YL,” he continued.

360 ammo 5.56
14 rounds of revolver ammunition
20 rounds of HS-9 ammunition
10 rounds of blank ammo
2,000 rounds of air rifle ammunition
