TNA iMPACT results! (11-28-2024) | Superfights

There are few things in the US more sacred than Thanksgiving Day (perhaps only the Second Amendment of its Constitution), and fate wants such an important holiday to always fall on Thursday, iMPACT day!

If last year TNA only presented one new fight within a menu where the rest were classic fights from its video library, this 2024 the company wanted to work more on its “Thanksgiving Special”, offering seven unpublished matches recorded expressly for the occasion on different dates during the last few months, like a parenthesis from current stories. Highlighting in one of them the involvement of Mike Bailey, who is no longer part of TNA.

Given the context, the iMPACT! episode It aired at its usual time, 8 pm ET, via TNA+, but could not be viewed via AXS TV until midnight. Thus, the chapter on the 21st can be considered the last Turning Point construction show, an event that will take place today.

TNA iMPACT results! (November 21, 2024) | The Hardys and Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven, Jake Something and Hammerstone

  • Joe Hendry, PCO and Sami Callihan defeated The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards and JDC) (with Alisha Edwards and Brian Myers). Recorded on October 2 at Skyway Studios in Nashville (Tennessee, USA), Hendry applied his Standing Ovation on Edwards for the count of three. Edwards will be fighting for the TNA World Championship at Turning Point, so I don’t know if airing this match did much to push him forward.
  • Jordynne Grace defeated Dani Luna (with Jody Threat). I don’t know why they didn’t broadcast this duel sooner, in which Luna looked very good, despite being brief. Recorded on June 29 from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA), when Grace was still the Knockouts World Champion, although this scepter was not shown at any time.
  • PCO, Sami Callihan, Xia Brookside and The Good Hands appeared playing a game of cards and eating typical Thanksgiving appetizers (and I thought they only ate turkey). However, the peaceful atmosphere was disturbed when PCO won a hand and The Good Hands showed their discontent. As a result, Santino Marella, who was passing by, declared a fight for next Thursday: PCO and Callihan vs. The Good Hands. Finally, John Skyler took a slap in the face courtesy of Brookside. Tachan.
  • Mustafa Ali defeated Trent Seven and Leon Slater. Ali managed to steal the account from Slater when he seemed to have defeated the former Mustache Mountain. Recorded on June 29 from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA), when Ali was still the X Division Champion, this title was not at stake nor was it shown. Again, another short fight.
  • Jake Something (w/Hammerstone) defeated Mike Bailey. An interference from Hammerstone allowed Something to win. Recorded on October 2 from the Skyway Studios in Nashville (Tennessee, USA), it seems that it will remain the last match that TNA broadcasts of Bailey.
  • Joe Hendry and Rhino defeated First Class (AJ Francis and KC Navarro). Hendry flattened Navarro after his Standing Ovation. Only fight recorded recently, on November 9, from the Crown Arena in Fayetteville (North Carolina, USA).
  • COFFIN FIGHT: PCO defeated Moose (w/The System). Recorded on July 21 from the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Canada, PCO couldn’t lose, and Joe Hendry helped counteract The System’s interventions. Double serving of PCO in one episode. I wish every Thursday was Thanksgiving.
  • Nic Nemeth defeated Sami Callihan. The longest fight of the chapter, and it didn’t reach 10 minutes. Recorded on September 14 at the Boeing Center at the Tech Port in San Antonio (Texas, USA).
  • I suppose that TNA had to present content by contract, but what was offered turned out to be insubstantial, since the fights were short in duration and there was no progress in the stories, except for that duo clash announced for next Thursday. At least PCO did a double.
