Thrissur – Thrissur sitting MP T.N. Prathapan said that he will withdraw from the contest if the party asks him to. Prathapan said that writing on walls and pasting posters is natural and that whoever contests in Thrissur is fully supported. TN Prathapan’s reaction comes after the news that the Congress is considering K. Muralidharan in Thrissur.

Prathapan said that K. Muralidharan is one of the best Congress leaders in Kerala and Muralidharan has all the qualities of leader K. Karunakaran’s son and all its leadership skills. Prathapan also explained that Muralidharan is a headstrong leader.
“The candidacy has not been decided. Discussions are underway. The Congress party has the talent to survive Operation Tamaras. It was the Congress that made an ordinary person like me a well-known public servant in India. Congress is the living soul and the supreme soul. There is no problem of giving up Thrissur to BJP and LDF under any circumstances,” Pratapan said.
