Majors got his breakthrough as a child star in the popular series. He died on Sunday, just 27 years old.

– He was a loved, artistic, brilliant and kind person. Austin took great joy and pride in his acting career, the family says.
Majors got his breakthrough as a child actor in the famous series «NYPD Blue»., where he played the role of Theo Sipowicz, the son of the lead detective Andy Sipowicz.
In Norway, the series was shown on TV 2 for several years in the late 90s and early 2000s.
– Austin was the kind of son, brother, grandson and nephew who made us proud and we will miss him deeply forever, says the family.
