TLAXCALA, Tlax., August 3, 2024.- In a joint strategy of the federal and state governments to prevent and reduce advanced cases of Covid-19 in the entity, starting this Monday, August 5, its all IMSS Bienestar and ISSSTE health unit apply the biological Abdala within their service hours.
30 thousand doses will be applied among the following groups: A) Children aged 6 years and older who do not have a vaccine against Covid-19 previously applied; B) People older than 18 years with any co-morbidity; C) People aged 60 and over who had their last vaccination more than 12 months ago.
Young children must be accompanied by an adult with official identification, and preferably present their vaccination card. In addition, it is recommended that the population over 18 years of age show proof of the last vaccination they received.
Guaranteeing the right to health is a priority for the Mexican Government, which is why the Covid-19 vaccine is free and will remain free.
In the entity, more than 3.5 million vaccines against Covid-19 have been applied since the start of the National Vaccination Strategy in 2021. This work allowed the population to return to the normal purpose of their lives after ‘ an epidemic caused by the virus.
