Tlaxcala has a vaccine against COVID-19 in all its municipalities

In a joint strategy of the federal and state governments to prevent and reduce positive cases of Covid-19 in the state, starting this Monday, August 5, all health units of IMSS Bienestar and ISSSTE will apply the Abdala biological product within their respective hours of attention.

30,000 doses will be administered to the following groups: A) Children aged 6 years and older who have not previously received any Covid-19 vaccine; B) People aged 18 years and older with comorbidities; C) People aged 60 years and older who received their last vaccine more than 12 months ago.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult with official identification, and preferably present their vaccination card. In addition, it is recommended that people over 18 years of age present proof of the last vaccine they received.

Guaranteeing the right to health is a priority for the Government of Mexico, which is why the Covid-19 vaccine is and will continue to be free.

More than 3.5 million vaccines against Covid-19 have been administered in the state since the start of the National Vaccination Strategy in 2021. This work allowed the population to return to a normal course of life after the pandemic caused by the respiratory virus.

Wearing face masks in crowded, closed spaces, as well as frequent handwashing and sneezing etiquette are effective measures against the spread of respiratory diseases.

If you have symptoms, go to your nearest health center. Remember: if you take care of yourself, we all take care of ourselves.
