The regional exhibition of water will open its doors in the province of Tiznit on March 8 and 9, 2023. It will make it possible to add more awareness about the necessity of resorting to unusual waters, as an alternative solution to face the scarcity of traditional water resources. This exhibition is organized under the slogan “Unusual German Resources: An Alternative Solution and Contribution to the Sustainable Economic Development of the Souss-Massa Basin”.
It constitutes an opportunity to contribute to the realization of the noble royal vision aimed at making the problem of water at the heart of public policies. This space, which extends over an area of 4000 square meters, will be allocated to professionals specialized in water issues (companies, study offices, university students…), as well as water user associations and civil society.
During this exhibition, seminars related to its slogan will be held, especially with regard to desalination of sea water and reuse of treated wastewater, in the presence of a group of experts, academics and professionals, as well as certificates on the subject. This exhibition will also be a cause of communication and sensitization of the importance of water and its fragility, and the consolidation of a culture of preserving it and rationalizing its use, as well as encouraging a change in our behavior towards this vital substance.
The gallery of the Souss-Massa Water Basin Agency will include a “water museum” that chronicles the water professions and the measuring instruments used in German facilities in the region. This organized exhibition will be inaugurated on the sidelines of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the German Basin Agency of Souss-Massa by Nizar Baraka, Minister of Equipment and Water, on Friday, March 8, 2023 at five o’clock after noon.
