A 27-year-old man was caught in the act of breaking into a restaurant on Hauptstrasse in Titisee-Neustadt on Tuesday morning, January 17, 2023, at around 6:20 a.m.

The suspect, who had illegally gained access to the restaurant, which was still closed, was discovered by an employee in the restaurant.

The man then fled with several electronic valuables stolen from the restaurant and an unknown amount of cash.

The man, who had already appeared to the police several times in the past with property crimes, among other things, was able to be found a little later by the police, who had been called by the witness, together with the stolen goods at his home address and arrested for the time being.
