You will not learn here about choosing supermarkets’ own brands or about preying on newspaper promotions. There will also be nothing about sacrifices that are supposed to be good not only for the household budget, but also for health. Also, forget about the Polish “Black Friday” – it’s just a trick.
Televisions, refrigerators, dishwashers and washing machines are getting more expensive every year. According to the calculations of the Forum Energii think tank, this year you will have to pay up to 18 percent for household appliances. more. This means that the prices of even last year’s sold-out goods may not decrease noticeably. The same applies to clothing, especially branded ones. However, there is nothing to break down. We advise several ways to pay less.
Some electromarkets, including particularly large chains, allow their employees to purchase equipment with a discount of 30 to 50 percent. What’s more, depending on seniority, such a person can buy not one, and sometimes even three products a year. This is to compensate for the relatively low wages of those employed in such places. However, not every year a store employee needs to buy a TV, washing machine or fridge. Therefore, there is nothing left but to make an appointment with the seller of the electromarket to buy back the goods from him, which are available for him at a price after a gigantic discount.
Some of these types of offers go to multi-brand shopping websites from the sellers themselves. After searching the internet, the best deal last year was a new OLED TV set for less than PLN 5,000, while in the store it cost 40 percent. expensive. advantageously? Of course. However, you have to be very lucky to get such an opportunity.
Better to break the ice and turn to one of the sellers. Or maybe it’s worth checking if any of your friends work in an electromarket. Such a transaction will be beneficial for both parties, and the store will not lose out, because usually expensive products have very high margins. In a similar way to a TV, an expensive washing machine, a refrigerator, you can buy a fashionable watch or other types of premium items.
When browsing the commercial offer in online stores and on auction portals, we often come across a product that is simply too expensive. Sometimes we feel that its price is simply exaggerated. Can it be lowered? Sure.
Some auction sites allow you to mark offered goods as watched. Algorithms connected to websites count the number of visits of users interested in a given product. The more often we click on a given product and the more people (our friends) will click on it without buying a single one, the greater the chance that the seller, in order to start the product sales cycle, will lower its price for a short time. Then, thanks to the appropriate protocols, the followers of the item will receive information about its price reduction. We must then be prepared for an immediate purchase, because most often the seller returns to the old price right after selling one copy from the advertised item. Latecomers have no chance. However, later in the search engines, information will appear that a given product at some point cost shockingly low – others can only envy.
It is a constant practice of many retailers that prices in Poland rise before “Black Friday” in order to drastically lower them on the day of the holiday of amateurs and amateurs of shopping. This trick still works, but not for everyone. A more conscious consumer knows that the lowest sale prices appear at the beginning of each year and on the eve of summer holidays. Unfortunately, discounting goods in Poland has nothing to do with real deals that appear abroad. However, a trip to the US for shopping will hardly pay off. So where and when can you buy clothes and other products at surprisingly low prices in Europe? You can follow the beaten path, i.e. visit our western neighbors or take a low-cost airline to Milan, but it is no longer as cheap or as fashionable as a decade ago.
For several years, bargain hunters have been going to Denmark and there at the end of June and beginning of July they shop for the whole year. It’s hard to believe, but in boutiques in picturesque coastal towns, such as Gilleleje or Tisvildeleje, where the Copenhagen high society, which for some reason does not bask in Spain, has fun in the summer, you can buy a full wardrobe consisting of famous brands only, at the prices of their Asian counterfeits. The product is safe, because the Danes abhor fraud and approach copyright very fundamentally. In turn, the low prices of good quality clothes result from the approach of wealthy Scandinavians that last season’s models are unnecessary, so they cannot cost a lot, i.e. as much as you have to pay for them at Polish sales.
