He trained as a nurse in adulthood, and has for the past three years worked with the intensive care patients at the hospital in Gjøvik.
– In a way, I feel almost privileged, because we are probably the world’s most coveted working group during the day, says Jo Even Linnerud to TV 2.
He is clear that there should be no doubt that they provide health care to those who need it.
– Hard to stand in it
But the intensive care nurse says it is demanding when the patients who come in have refused to be vaccinated.
– It is very challenging. We will provide professional health care, but it does something to you. We know what it costs us personally to stand in it, and we know what such a place costs. But it’s just like they do not care about it, says Linnerud.

Tops the statistics
On Monday, there were 358 corona patients admitted to Norwegian hospitals. 109 of these are admitted to the intensive care unit, and of these, 62 patients receive respiratory treatment.
At Oslo University Hospital, those admitted with coronary heart disease mostly consist of unvaccinated or people with other underlying immune diseases.
