The supervisory authorities have received 64 reports of concern after the billion-dollar system Helseplattformen was put into use at St. Olav’s hospital. Five of these are referred to as serious for patient safety.
On Wednesday, surgeon Monica J. Engstrøm operated on a patient at St. Olav’s hospital. Afterwards, she should enter that the patient had been taken off a medicine, and put on a new one.
But during registration in the new and controversial computer system Helseplattformen, she became unsure.
