However, coughing is also a symptom of inflammation or respiratory infection, where the role of this cough is to expel excessive mucus.

“When the body’s immune system is weak, cleaning foreign particles from the respiratory tract is ineffective, so bacteria and viruses stay longer or become trapped in the respiratory tract,” he explained.

When a cough occurs, the body’s immune system will work actively to fight bacteria or viruses. These bacteria or viruses can trigger inflammation in the respiratory tract. Therefore, it is very important to improve the body’s resistance in cough treatment.

Before coughing increasingly interferes with daily activities and prevents the emergence of more serious illnesses, self-medication is necessary. Choose cough medicine that not only relieves coughs but also increases endurance.
