Apple usually provides good battery life with their devices be it iPhone, iPad or Mac models Apple Watch Or other, however, in the past, Apple has been accused of intentionally slowing down iPhone models with outdated batteries and recently paid $113 million to settle a case BatteryGateWhile Apple believes this was to maintain battery health in the long run, it has since introduced battery management and performance features to users, aside from sharing tips and recommendations for maintaining battery health.
Some general practices recommended by Apple include updating to the latest software, avoiding high ambient temperatures, removing some cases while charging, and storing devices in a half-charged state when stored for long periods of time.
On their website, Apple has a page detailing how to extend the battery life and life of your iPhone, with the following steps:
1- It is to keep the phone updated to the latest software.
2- You can also conserve battery life by adjusting screen brightness and using Wi-Fi connection where possible.
3- You can either dim the brightness of the iPhone screen or turn on auto-brightness. Enable Low Power Mode
4- iPhone users can also enable Low Power Mode when it starts to get low, if the battery drops to 20%, you will get a notification and Low Power Mode can be turned on with one click.
5- Prevent apps from updating in the background.
6- Turn off location services for apps.
