May Day is celebrated in many parts of the world as Labor Day. Český Krumlov and the month of love

Český Krumlov has its own charm. This city breathes history and incredible romance on you. On April 30 and May 1, there is a celebration in honor of the month of love. You can come for a witch hunt, building a maypole or a lantern parade. On Wednesday, the classic May Fair (which will last until May 5) and the May Day of Open Museums and Galleries will take place on náměstí Svorností. Entrance to these is completely free on this day.

Fire show in Olomouc

By visiting Bezručové orchards in Olomouc, you will combine a kiss under a blossoming tree with an interesting program. A rich program is prepared for you on May Day from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The conjuring groups Cascabel, Plameňáci and Chxos will perform, and the evening will culminate in a big fire show. You don’t need anything with you except a blanket to sit on and possibly warm up. Entry to the event is free, but if you take a few change in your pocket and throw it in the artists’ hat, they will surely be happy.

May Day tour of the Konopiště castle

For 100 crowns you will get an unusual experience in the form of a special tour Konopiště castle. For the umpteenth year in a row Prague park Grébovka turns into an oasis of lovebirds thanks to Dermacol Love Day. However, this is not just a party for couples, whole families will enjoy it.
