1. Reduce Screen Brightness
Many smartphones today appear sophisticated with significant brightness. Though this tends to put a lot of pressure on the battery.
By reducing the brightness of the cellphone screen, it makes the battery last longer. In addition, switching to Dark Mode, or changing the screen background from white to black can also make battery life and reduce brightness in your eyes.
2. Turn Off Vibrating Notifications
Turning off the vibrate function when there is a notification can also increase battery life. Only use this feature when needed.
Smartphones will lose their effectiveness the more they are used. Vibrating notifications also contribute to the process.
3. Don’t Charge the Battery Overnight or Up to 100%
If you have a habit of leaving your cellphone charged overnight or reaching 100%, you should leave it immediately. Because this habit can shorten battery life.
The reason is that after the phone is fully charged it will continue to charge to keep the battery at 100%. That extra charge keeps the battery going and decays the Lithium-ion battery, causing it to wear out. Heat will also accumulate due to long charging.
4. Take advantage of Battery Saver Mode
Today’s smartphones are equipped with a built-in battery saver mode. That is activated manually but also automatically when the remaining battery is below 20%.
This mode can help reduce power consumption by closing battery-draining apps. This includes apps that stay running in the background which may drain battery life.
On most smartphones, battery saver mode will turn off certain notifications and reduce the brightness on the screen.
5. Avoid Excessive Temperature
The battery life will be longer if you can control the temperature on your phone. High temperatures put pressure on the battery and risk damaging the internal parts of the HP.
The trick is not to charge it for a long time, especially when it is fully charged. As well as not plugging it into the dashboard on a hot day.
