Trends are necessary for us to know current styles, colors, materials. Trends should serve as inspiration for the development of your personal style. But there are some things worth considering to make your image look current and modern.
JEANS
Of course, jeans with a bleached effect, distressed effect with big holes, brown tones, cargo pants are in fashion right now, but you don’t necessarily have to choose pants in this style.
Regular, classic blue jeans will also be relevant if they meet some criteria.
Current styles are – straight cut (straight)wide cut (wide), with a high, medium or low waist. A low waist area will only look good on a particularly slim figure. If you want to make your body taller and slimmer, choose extra long ones with a high or medium waist.
Jeans will look current if they fit you. Yes, just that simple. Pants should not be too tight in the hips or thighs. Of course, if you still have it in your wardrobe skinny jeans, they must be got rid of urgently.

T-SHIRT
Even a plain white T-shirt can tell whether your image is fashionable or not. It is better not to choose narrow, thin T-shirts with a V-neckline or a deeper U-neckline.
Choose a T-shirt made of a thick material so that it holds its shape well, with sleeves that reach almost to the elbow and a slightly raised neckline.
It looks very good if you roll up the sleeves a little. Such a T-shirt, even together with the most ordinary jeans, will create an up-to-date overall image. Add some accent earrings, an interesting bag, or maybe a red lip and voila.
SOCKS
Forget ankle socks! Visible socks below the ankle will be a visible indicator that your image is not up to date. Choose long socks – in white, which will look great with sneakers/boots and a skirt or dress.
Or maybe in a bright shade with jeans, because even if you think that the pants are long and no one will see your socks, they will see them when you sit down. Colorful socks will also be an interesting accent to your image.
CHEAP LOOKING FABRIC
You really don’t have to shop at luxury stores, the mass market has great clothes that look and feel good. However, there are also things that look very cheap, because the fabric, for example, is thin and does not hold its shape, or it has already shrunk while still in the store. Lace mostly always looks cheap. You should also be careful with shiny fabrics. Fabrics that wrinkle very quickly will also not look good.
This type of lace will almost always look bad and cheap.
CONTRAST OF STYLES
One of my favorite tricks is how you can easily create a current image. Combining clothes of contrasting styles in one image will make your look fashionable and interesting. For example, if you have a romantic looking blouse (with a big bow, beads, puffy sleeves, pink, etc.) pair it with jeans, sneakers or cargo pants.
Otherwise, if you add similar style clothing to an overly romantic top or bottom, the overall image will be too sweet and classic. A silk skirt or dress can be combined with a hoodie and sneakers, classic office pants with a T-shirt, cargo jeans with high heels, etc. Experiment!
SIZE
Finding the right size is very important when choosing clothes.
If the pants are too tight in the hips, or the jacket is tight, it will look bad. When choosing a blazer, sweater or jacket, consider more voluminous silhouettes, don’t be afraid to measure clothes a size larger than usual. It is very likely that the overall image will immediately look more current. Also, it will make you visually look slimmer.
If you don’t like it total oversize, you don’t have to wear it, but it’s important that the clothes fit you well. For extra-wide trousers, choose a top with a smaller volume and vice versa, so that the overall image is harmonious. The main thing is to feel comfortable.
ACCESSORIES
Follow the news of accessories. With the right accessories, it is very easy to make your perhaps even simple overall image interesting and modern.
