1. OIS technology
Having a cellphone with Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) technology will really help produce night photos so that they are shake-free and the images are not blurred. Taking pictures at night or in minimal lighting conditions is prone to producing blurry images.
If the cellphone is equipped with OIS, users don’t have to work hard so that the camera doesn’t shake and the images are blurred. With a camera that has OIS, users can simply take pictures as usual or place the cellphone on a flat surface.
2. Lighting
The most important thing when shooting at night is lighting. If necessary, use manual settings on the cellphone camera so you can adjust the exposure.
With manual mode, users can adjust the shutter speed according to their needs. The slower the shutter speed, the more light the lens will receive.
After setting the shutter, also adjust the aperture or lens opening. The bigger the opening, the more light will enter.
Also set the ISO to a higher level, 400 or more, to increase the sensitivity of the lens to light.
Having a phone that uses the latest pixel technology, such as All Pixel AF, is a plus. Pixel technology can help capture more light because it has a sensor that can record sharper images in any lighting conditions. All Pixel AF also puts autofocus on all pixels.
3. Fitur Night Mode
The Night Mode feature or night mode can be used to make the photos brighter. Night Mode uses a multiframe processing system so it can combine 30 images into one photo.
Some Samsung cellphones are equipped with an Auto Night feature that is able to recognize the amount of lighting around objects. Automatically, the cellphone will switch to Night Mode if it detects a low amount of light.
4. Experiment
After the camera settings are complete, try experimenting, for example in the shooting angle so that the photo results are more aesthetic. Also take advantage of the wide-angle lens on the camera so that more objects are included in one frame. If you are taking selfies in large groups, use the group selfie feature so that more people can take part.
5. Edit photos
Don’t hesitate to edit photos so that the results are better. Users can take advantage of the AI Image Enhancer feature, for example, to increase photo clarity.
