Tini publishes ‘Ni de ti’, the song where she talks about her relationship with Rodrigo De Paul

Tini is back. The 27-year-old Argentine artist released her new studio album this Friday, April 12, ‘Un mechón de pelo’, a work in which, through ten songs, she wanted to reflect the strong depression she suffered a few months ago. for which he almost suspended his tour of Spain and his last personal crisis. Additionally, she responds to many of the criticisms she has had to face in recent years; from those that affect her physical appearance to those that accused her of having a drug addiction.

‘Posta’, ‘Buenos Aires’, ‘Miedo’, ‘Pa’ or ‘Me voy’ are some of the songs that are part of Tini’s most personal album and that are already a success on Spotify. Another of the songs that has attracted attention is the one titled ‘Ni de ti’ in which the former protagonist of the series ‘Violetta’ opens up about her failed relationship with Rodrigo de Paul, the Atlético de Madrid footballer with who lived a passionate love story in which the young woman was blamed for the breakup between the player and his wife Cami Homs.

In a song with a much more avant-garde production than the rest of the album, Tini speaks loud and clear. “They say it’s stealing, that I broke up a family. They say so much shit… Come on, don’t talk to me about me or you,” the singer intones. “My grandmother almost believed it too. Don’t take the note because I know what it is: all invented, all lies (…) He who is free from sin should cast the first stone. For every one who hates me, I have ten who love me. I stayed quiet so the children wouldn’t get hurt. “I didn’t steal from anyone, I do have proof,” she continues, expressing herself in some verses in which she could refer to De Paul’s children.

In another of the verses of ‘Ni de ti’, Tini responds to all those who question her thinness and her supposed drug addiction. “They say I hide to take a pill, which is why I’m skinny. Do not talk about me. Not even about you,” sings the young artist with more than ten years of experience in music. “I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I don’t do drugs. After being silent for many years, it makes me very sad to have to clarify who I am and what I do with my life (…) To all those who continue to believe or feed these lies, I wish, with all my heart, that they find something more productive than do”, is also heard.

He presents his album through tears

On the occasion of the launch of ‘Un mechón de pelo’, her fifth studio album, Tini has made a live broadcast through her Instagram profile in which, through tears, she has spoken about her feelings and what this means to her. such a personal work. “This social media thing can do a lot of harm to a person. Very much. I hope there is more awareness of what they generate. And a comment, sometimes, can make a person no longer want to be here,” she begins by saying.
