3. Tinea Head

This fungal infection affects the scalp and associated hair shafts. The infection is common in young children, with symptoms including bald patches that may appear scaly or red, itchy and painful. This condition needs to be treated with prescription over-the-counter medications, as well as antifungal shampoos.

4. Tinea Versikolor

Tinea versicolor, sometimes called pityriasis versicolor, is a fungal skin infection that causes small, oval-shaped patches on the skin. This condition is caused by overgrowth of fungi Malassezia, which is naturally found in the skin. Tinea versicolor commonly occurs on the skin of the back, chest, and upper arms. And is lighter or darker in color than the rest of the skin.

5. Onychomycosis

Onychomycosis is infection fungus on the fingernails or toenails, although it is more common in the toenails. Symptoms generally include nails turning yellow, brown, or white, brittle or breaking easily, and thickening.
