JAKARTA – Tinder announced a series of new features that will be available by the end of this year in Indonesia. These features are expected to continue to expand the online dating experience.
One of the features that makes Tinder different from other similar apps is the presence of a video display on the user’s profile. The upcoming feature gives users more ways to express themselves through videos on their profiles.

According to Tinder, the Video feature is a way for Gen Z to share authentic stories about themselves, as well as part of Tinder’s evolution into a multidimensional experience.
“ Tinder is the most popular way to make new, meaningful connections around the world,” said Jim Lanzone, CEO of Tinder.
In addition, Tinder also launched the Hot Takes feature, which gives users the opportunity to have a quick chat with someone before they become a match.
As time counts down, users can choose whether they want to be a match or wait for time to run out and meet new people.

“This is the first time users can chat with someone on Tinder before becoming a match and creating a first impression by teasing each other,” added Jim.
This new experience will also be available in other in-app experiences, such as Swipe Night and the VIBES feature.
