“Tina Turner, Beloved Singer and Concert Giant Dies at 83”

The unstoppable singing star and concert giant Tina Turner has died, aged 83.

She first met her husband Ike Turner. Ike and Tina Turner were responsible for a long series of hits and performances in the 1960s and 70s.

But it was when Tina Turner broke out of a physically and psychologically abusive marriage that she came into her own. The chart-topping song “What’s Love Got To Do With It” in 1984 was her biggest triumph.
