Ukrainian artist, co-founder of “Cultural Landing” Alexander Chemerov in an interview on September 29 it turned out on the YouTube channel of the Ukrainian journalist Alina Dorotyuk, commented on the statement of his colleague on the project Kolya Sergi that the Ukrainian singer Tina Karol refused to join the participants of this project in order to perform concerts in front of Ukrainian defenders.
“Kolya Serga said that the only star who merged at the last moment was Tina Karol. How did this happen? Do you know about this situation? What did she say?” – the journalist asked Chemerov.
“I know about this situation. It happened more than once. It happened three or four times,” Chemerov said. “And besides that, some kind of car was promised, but it didn’t arrive.”
According to Chemerov, he assumes that the artist is “simply afraid.”
“We need to ask her the reasons,” he added.
Chemerov said that in addition to Tina Karol, the Ukrainian singer Anton Velboi (ex-Wellboy) also refused to perform in front of Ukrainian defenders along with the “Cultural Landing” artists.
“He was hesitant to go, and then, when his career broke down, he started directly: “Take me with you,” but we didn’t take him anymore,” Chemerov added.

Participants of the “Cultural Landing” perform on the front lines and in rehabilitation centers in front of Ukrainian defenders. In an interview with the editor-in-chief of the online publication “GORDON” Alesya Batsman, the co-founder of the Serga project said that a total of four units were created, each of which is tied to certain sectors of the front and works directly with those groups of troops that are assigned to this region. According to the artist, each group consists of three to five artists, who give about four concerts every day, six days a week.
Serga emphasized that all participants in the “Cultural Landing” are also on the front line. The artist said that the “Cultural Landing” project provides for accompaniment during hostilities. In addition, the artists of “Cultural Landing” perform in hospitals or rehabilitation centers.
Most of the “Cultural Landing” are Ukrainian military artists.
On August 30, in an interview on the YouTube channel “Grunt”, Serga, answering the question whether there were any stars who refused to join the “Cultural Landing”, said that such an artist was Tina Karol.
“Someone just promised and didn’t come. Tina Karol, for example. She was in one day [до концерта] constantly refused. Well, she’s scared. And I understand that there were some reasons, but the basic one was just fear,” Serga replied then.
Representatives of the singer’s official fan club responded by publishing photos and videos showing the artist during a concert in front of the Ukrainian military. The artist herself published these photographs and videos in August 2022.
