The artist made an official statement.

Ukrainian singer Tina Karol after the scandal that erupted around her new videoHoney & HONEY‘ made a big decision.

So, this morning in the studio “Snidanku z 1 + 1” the performer officially made a statement that she was removing the video for the song “Honey & MED” from the Web.

“I’m deleting this clip. It’s expensive for me. It hurts me. But we have no right to allow such narratives to appear even so, indirectly. I don’t want to. For me, my reputation is my whole life. I sing and “I work in this country and for me the war began in 2014. I love this state and have long put national interests above my own. I’m just disgusted that there are these people in my work,” Karol said.

The performer also shared that it was not for nothing that she released a video for the author’s track “Honey & MED” on April 28 – on the anniversary of the death of her husband, producer Evgeny Ogir, who died 10 years ago. According to Tina, she dedicated this song to him, and the clip is full of symbolism.

Karol does not hide the fact that it was hard for her to decide to delete the video: “It’s difficult for me. It’s okay. There will be another clip. It’s expensive, it’s unpleasant and it was about the love of my life,” the artist added.

Recall that on April 28, Tina Karol released a video for a new Ukrainian-English composition “Honey & MED”, which she wrote herself. The team of Ukrainian director Henry Lipatov, who has his own company Beverly.films in America, worked on the video. When the premiere of the clip took place, Karol found out that Russians working in Lipatov’s company were also related to the video. Karol admitted that she did not know everyone who worked on the video. After the scandal, the artist recorded a video message with explanations.
