Tina Karol (real name – Tatyana Lieberman) was born on January 25, 1985 in the village of Orotukan, Magadan Region. In 1992, the family moved to Ukraine – to the homeland of the singer’s mother, to Ivano-Frankivsk.
In 2005, the artist took second place in the New Wave competition and received a special award from the Russian singer Alla Pugacheva. In 2006, Karol represented Ukraine at the international Eurovision Song Contest, where she took seventh place. In 2009, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, in 2017 – People’s Artist.
After the Russian attack on Ukraine, Tina Karol performs charity concerts in support of Ukraine abroad.
Tina Karol became a jury member of the American Grammy Music Awards.
