“There is no way to draw a parallel between our organization, our ideas and our principles, and the leader of “New Beginning”.
APS does not accept that the vote “DPS – New Beginning” is true, according to Halilov, 90% of their results are not true.
“Because a mayor believed that Peevski does not mean that the people in that town voted with free will. The problem in these municipalities, which we saw later thanks to their work during the elections, the mayors put an unprecedented pressure on the people. who have known me for years, I did not dare to greet me because they were afraid of the mayor.”
Khalilov, who is also the chairman of the Central Control Commission of the DPS, referred to the “exclusion games” from the party.
“I cannot be expelled because the chairman of the Central Control Commission is the second person after the chairman of the party. A national conference can send me out. that a decision is made by a legitimate body – TSOB, submitted to the court. Peevski is the one expelled from DPS. They can say many things. But the CSO’s decision has a publicity effect and will come into effect from the moment it is published”.
The people around Ahmed Dogan still live in the DPS headquarters on Blvd. “Alexander Stamboliyski” in Sofia, but, according to Halilov, they are working under severe pressure because they are not receiving the subsidy from the previous vote. Instead, they got something else:
“An invoice from a company to carry out repairs for BGN 900,000, without concluding a contract. We do not know who concluded the contract and who gave them the invoice. (…) At the moment there is we are facing the whole state and all institutions that work under the orders of one person and it is difficult for us, but we have hope.”
Timur Khalilov also explained why the APS MP supports all the candidates for the Speaker of the Parliament except for those of GERB-SDS and “Vazrazhdane”:
“Regarding “Vazrazhdane” we have a clear red line, which we have already said in the previous parliament. Regarding GERB – in this parliament we have a clear line that their application cannot be a solution to the crisis -now”.
